This 2 day workshop explores the 3rd stage of development (8 months to 2.5 years old). We cover the deficits that are seen in people’s bodies and heard in their stories when problems occur during this stage. Somatic interventions will be taught and practiced that can help resource individuals with these issues.

Early registration $250 by Nov. 1 / Late registration $270 after Nov. 1

At the end of this workshop you will:

  • –Understand what takes place ideally in the autonomy stage of development.
  • –Know the particular deficits that show up when autonomy is not supported fully in the early vs. late part of this stage – Early Autonomy Structure (8 months to 1.5 years vs. Late Autonomy Structure (1.5 years to 2.5 years).
  • –Recognize the stories and body types of clients with these issues.
  • –Be able to apply somatic exercises to help resource these people around the particular deficits they have.

Certificates awarded in person at the completion of the workshop. Kitty Chelton (PCE #021263) is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education units for MFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs &/or LEPs.
