July 21st and 22nd 9am to 5pm

11725 Bodega Hwy. Sebastopol, CA

catsThis 2 day workshop explores the 2nd stage of life (birth to 18 months old). We cover the deficits that are seen in people’s bodies and heard in their stories when problems occur during this developmental stage. Somatic interventions will be taught and practiced that can help resource individuals with these issues.

Early registration $250 by July 1 / Late registration $270 after July 1

At the end of this workshop you will:

  • Understand what takes place ideally in the need stage of development
  • Know the particular deficits that show up when needs are not fully met in the early vs. late part of this stage – Early Need Structure (birth to 1 yr.) vs. Late Need Structure (1 yr. to 18 months).
  • recognize the stories and body types of clients with these issues.
  • Be able to apply somatic exercises to help resource these people around the particular deficits they have.

Certificates awarded in person at the completion of the workshop. Kitty Chelton (PCE #021263) is approved by the California ASsociation of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education units for MFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs &/or LEPs.
